City Commute — Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Innovaiden Inc. ("Innovaiden," "we," "us") governing your use of the City Commute iOS application (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What City Commute Is

City Commute is a Stockholm public-transit companion. It shows live departures, vehicle positions on a live map, and journey plans built on open transit data from Trafiklab and SL (Storstockholms Lokaltrafik), alongside features such as saved places and stops, alarms, widgets, an AI assistant, and a parking-sign scanner. City Commute is an informational tool only. We are not a transport operator, we are not affiliated with or endorsed by SL or Trafiklab, and we do not control the underlying data. Departure times, vehicle positions, disruptions, and journey plans may be inaccurate, delayed, incomplete, or unavailable, and we do not guarantee the accuracy or availability of the App or its data. Always verify time-critical journeys against official SL information before relying on them.

2. Eligibility and Age

You may use the App only if you can form a binding contract with us and are permitted to do so under the laws of your country. The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children: you must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the App.

3. Your Account

You agree to provide accurate account information and keep it up to date, and to maintain one account per person. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings → Delete Account).

4. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the App or attempt to access it other than through the interfaces we provide.

5. City Commute Premium (Subscriptions)

Parts of the App are free; City Commute Premium unlocks premium features as an auto-renewable monthly subscription purchased through Apple:

  • Price: 39 kr per month, after a 1-week free trial. The price is shown in the App before purchase and may change with notice; any change applies from a later renewal, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase — or, for the free trial, at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends.
  • The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your device Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions (the App Store's subscription settings).
  • We cannot issue refunds. Billing, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple; request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • If Premium lapses, your account simply returns to the free tier — your data is unaffected.

6. Parking-Sign Scanner

The parking-sign scanner uses AI to interpret photos of parking signs. Its output is informational only — it may be wrong, incomplete, or out of date, and it is not legal, parking, or traffic advice. You are solely responsible for reading and complying with the posted signage and the regulations that apply where you park. We accept no liability for parking decisions made using the App or for any fines, fees, towing, or other consequences that result.

7. Acceptable Use

You must not use the App to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
  • interfere with, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, our systems, or other users' accounts;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App's source code, models, or data;
  • access the App or collect data from it using bots, scrapers, or other automated means (Trafiklab publishes its open data directly, under its own terms); or
  • resell, rebrand, or commercially exploit the App or its data.

Violations may result in content removal and account suspension or termination.

8. Your Content

Content you create in the App — parking-sign scans, saved places and stops, saved routes, and trip history ("Your Content") — is private to your account and is not visible to other users. You retain ownership of Your Content and grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host and process it solely to operate and provide the App (for example, storing your scans so you can revisit them). You are responsible for Your Content, and we may remove content that violates these Terms or the law. Your Content is deleted when you delete it in-app or delete your account, as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, excluding Your Content and the third-party transit data it displays, is owned by Innovaiden and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you no rights in our trademarks or branding. SL and Trafiklab names and data remain the property of their respective owners.

10. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any departure time, vehicle position, journey plan, or parking-sign interpretation is accurate, complete, or current. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you; nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived under applicable law.

11. Limitation of Liability and Indemnity

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INNOVAIDEN WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE APP, FROM RELIANCE ON TRANSIT INFORMATION OR PARKING-SIGN INTERPRETATIONS SHOWN IN THE APP, OR FROM MISSED JOURNEYS, PARKING FINES, OR OTHER TRAVEL OR PARKING OUTCOMES. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). You agree to indemnify Innovaiden against claims arising from Your Content or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent prohibited by law.

12. Apple App Store — Licensed Application Terms

If you obtain the App from the Apple App Store, the following also apply: these Terms are between you and Innovaiden only, not Apple; Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App; in the event the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any), and to the maximum extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation; Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App or your use of it; and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. embargo or on a U.S. prohibited-parties list.

13. Changes; Termination

We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, noticed in the App. We may suspend or terminate your access for any violation of these Terms or to protect the App and its users. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Innovaiden Inc., without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence (including, for EU/EEA and Swedish consumers, the protections of your local law).
